Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes A Popping /cracking Sound Of Arm On Movement?
i ve always been able to move my arms in a windmill motion and every time my arms are reaching above my head, my shoulders pop or crack. only when i move them clockwise though. there is no pain associated with this. how can i get the shoulder to stop cracking?
This sounds to be a weakness of the deltoid muscle. I will advise strengthening the muscles of the shoulder girdle and upper back muscles. This will help reduce the clicking sound.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
