Reason For Sharp Pain And Cramps In Bicep Area During Sudden Movement?
Right arm pain bicep area. Positional, especially when arm bent to put on coat, pour a cup of coffee or straight out to reach overhead. Wake up several times to reposition arm. Sudden movements causes intense pain and sudden weakness. Shoulder seems to becoming involved. Teaching straight overhead causes sharp pain. Arm bent causes constant dull ache like a low cramping feel.
Pain may be due to impingement syndrome.
You need proper clinical examination by orthopedician.
Firstly X-ray of shoulder joint in AP view should be taken.
There may be trapping of nerve during movement which is causing pain.
MRI is the investigation of choice to assess nerve status so MRI shoulder should be done.
Mostly it is managed conservatively and analgesics are prescribed.Local steriod can be injected if necessary.
Physiotherapy is also very helpful.
Surgery is needed in some cases.
Get well soon.
Hope i have answered your query.
Take Care
