What Causes A Popping Sensation On Leg With Sharp Pain?
am 59 years old. was leaning against wooden armrest and stretching down to pick up something off floor and something popped on my left side and has been very painful since then. have had rib injury in past.... this feels like something popped in between 2 of my ribs. i can t sleep on my left side and it is very painful to lift with my left hand, etc. dx? and tx?

The symptoms look like a muscle catch, you can take the over the counter available muscle relaxant like Aceclofenac. Apply local Diclofenac gel, if the pain is still sever I would suggest you to consider an X-ray of the chest.
