What Causes A Prominent Red Trail From The Area Of Tattoo?
I have a leg tattoo that turned out fine.. little to no redness/inflammation... I properly sterilized the exact same tattoo equipment and tattooed no struggle no progress on my forearm. The no progress part isn t red or inflamed, however the no struggle part is red and inflamed... there s a noticeable red trail (looking like blood poisoning) going up my elbow/bicep area from the tattoo.. please help with possibilities of what s going on, what I can do at home to maybe treat and cure it? I m worried... and confused cuz this has never happened on any tattoos I ever gave anyone.. nor myself! Please help asap. Thank you!
Hi, Tattooing has proud and cons like anything in the world. You mention you have properly sterilised the instruments. This red trail is your body's response to the acute insult you have given it to it. You may argue that it isn't there on the other part of the tattoo. See again each body part is different. Say for example, your face is more vascular and bleeds easily. Just give some for compression for a day or two. It should disappear. Again you have not mentioned anything about itching and also the time of onset of the rash. Please consult your doctor regarding the issue.
