What Causes A Pus-filled Bump And Bald Spot Behind The Head?
Hello my name is Jaime, I ve have a bald spot on my back of my head. I ve had it on and off with hair regrowth, but just this year it hasent gone away and now I have it with a small bump fill with pus. Any suggestions on what it could be and medicine I could take?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Bald spot with pus filled bump has two possibilities. 1. Tinea capitis... fungal infection 2. alopecia areata with boil I would like to advise to taken antifungal cream and antifungal like terbinafine. If the problem still persists inspite of this treatment for 3 weeks then consult dermatologist for expert opinion as it needs visual examination. Hope it helps best. don't forget to rate this answer and close the discussion at Healthcare Magic. Take your best care. Regards. Dr Ejaz
