What Causes A Pus-filled Bump And Bald Spot Behind The Head?

Hello my name is Jaime, I ve have a bald spot on my back of my head. I ve had it on and off with hair regrowth, but just this year it hasent gone away and now I have it with a small bump fill with pus. Any suggestions on what it could be and medicine I could take?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Bald spot with pus filled bump has two possibilities.
1. Tinea capitis... fungal infection
2. alopecia areata with boil
I would like to advise to taken antifungal cream and antifungal like terbinafine.
If the problem still persists inspite of this treatment for 3 weeks then consult dermatologist
for expert opinion as it needs visual examination.
