What Causes A Radiating Pain From The Lower Back To The Legs?

I had a MRI ON MY LOWER BACK, ACROSS COXES AREA, FOR BAD PAIN.. CAN T WALK 50 BEFOR I JUST WANT TO CRY THE PAIN IS SO BAD, PAIN TRAVLES TO BOTH HIPS n DOWN LEFT LEG... MY PCP NP CALLED n SAID MY #10 THE NERVE IS BIGGER THAN THE SPINE HOLE IT GOES THROUGH. PCP NP SAID THEY WOULD MAKE AN APT. WITH NEUROSURGERY&SPINE. A MD.GENEVIEVE HALL. SHE SAID I LL NEED A COURTAZOIN SHIT, BUT SHE S NOT SURE WARA TO PUT IT BECAUSE BOTH HIPS ARE INVOLVED. I M SCARED, VERY UNSURE ABOUT THIS DR. I ALWAYS GO TO MERCY HOSPITAL n THAY DO HAVE A PAIN CENTER BUT MY PCP NP TOLD ME MERCY DOES NOT SURGENS FOR THIS INGERY OF MINE!!

Hello,

It may be due to nerve compression at lumbar level.

For that you may require MRI back, nerve conduction studies after spine surgeon consultation.

You may require surgical intervention after surgeon consultation.

Till then you can take tablet pregabalin and multivitamin after consultation.

Continue physical therapy.

Avoid strenuous activity
