What Causes A Raised Bump At The Blood Withdrawal Site?
I donated blood yesterday, and the document they gave me said I should seek attention if I notice a raised bump at the needle site. The raised bump is red, the needle hole pronounced and red. Maybe nothing, but I m just following the directions they gave me.
Respected Sir, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly. The reason behind the raised bump is local reaction towards the needle prick which may be partially injuring wall of the vessel while withdrawl. Nothing serious concern sir , kindly apply ice 4-5 times a day at that site and you will find yourself absolutely alright within 48 hours dear thanks regards wishing you fast speedy recovery.
