What Causes A Rash And Swelling On The Arm After Pneumonia Vaccination?
I had the pneumonia booster Friday during my yearly exam. Where the injection site is I am having a rash and under my arm it is red and swollen as though something bit me.it is tender. Should I take an aspirin? It is not as red as when I first noticed it.
It might be due to minor inflammation at the site of injection. Nothing much to worry and you can take anti-inflammatory pills like serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
Also, apply warm compresses. Generally, the symptoms will settle in a couple of days. If symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
