What Causes A Rash Near The Anal Region While Having Constipation?

I have constipation and what feels like a fever. I took my temperature and it is normal. I also have a rash in my anus area. Within the last two months I was diagnosed with a DVT and put on Xarelto. I dont know if this has anything to do with my symptoms. Any ideas! Thanks

Hi,

Stressing for bowel evacuation causes traumal to anus... leading to irritation of anal Skin, perianal inflammation, hemorrhides which can get inflamed/infected.

Stool soothener, lubrication of anus, increased fibers & water intake & treatment of bowel infection & regular exercises would help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
