What Causes A Recurrent Bump On The Gum Despite Taking Antibiotics?

i had 7 teeth pulled and got dentures on the bottom a week after i had them pulled i noticed a bump on my gum doctor gave me an antibiotic took for a week did not go away . next week gave me a different antibiotic for 7 days felt better but came back a few days later , went back to see him on wednesday he gave me more antibiotics stronger ones because i have a big bump from behind my ear and in front of my ear and goes down my jaw line very painful and hot and swoollen have been taking antibiotics for 4 days does not seem to be getting better what do i do

Welcome to HCM

As per your complain a bump on the gum.along with tender bump extending from behind the. Ear to the area in front of ear and down the jaw line seems to be most probably due to any retained or left out root piece that is causing infection leading to swelling and bumps behind and front of ear seems to be due to swollen lymph nodes..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and he can advise a full mouth x Ray along with ultrasound or MRI for confirmation of the cause..
Aa of now you should continue with antibiotics and also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles..
Do cool compresses over the swelling..
