What Causes A Recurrent Pus Filled Pimple Between The Labia And Thigh?
I have a...sore between my outer labia and thigh that when you squeeze it, a yellowy white liquid oozes out. The skin in it is softer and smoother then the rest of my skin and after you squeeze out the yellow-white liquid blood comes out but the sore kinda just caves in but the sore is still there and becomes even more sore.... I don t know what it is. It s not a zit because I don t get anything solid out of it. After a while it goes away but then comes back in the same exact spot everytime. Can you help me figure out what it is?
Recurrent pus filled pimple around the genital is mostly caused by folliculitis which is often self-limiting and good personal hygiene may help take care of it. It may as well be caused by STI like syphilis, herpes. I will suggest you get the bump examined by the doctor given the recurrence. If need be, an STI work-up may be requested. In the meantime, I will recommend good genital hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
