Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up with a red circle on my hand that was irritated under the hot shower. The center was hard and slightly raised, but had no marks in the middle. It looked like pictures of ringworm so I applied Lotramin. But this evening there is a very raised blister in the middle. What is it?
Itchy red bumps can be due to food allergy, skin sensitivity, insect bite, skin disorders, allergic reactions or skin cancers. Most of these itchy bumps need no treatment they get cured by themselves. You can take non-sedating antihistamines, Levocetrizine once daily for 5-7 days.
Apply Miconazole Nitrate & Neomycin Suphate cream locally to get relieve. Do not scratch. If if does not heal visit a dermatologist & get physically examined. Get treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
