What Causes A Red Rash Between The Toes?
My 13 year old son came home from camp with a red rash in between his toes(it is only between three of his toes). His dad is certain it is Athlete s Foot . Is a spray or a cream (like Lotrimin) better to treat it with? How often should he apply (whichever one is better)? Do I need to take him to the doctor or should we just try the over the counter medicines first.

In between toes fungal infection is common
If you post photo of lesion than further comment can be given
Presuming that it is fungal infection you can apply topical antifungal cream esp terbinafine..
Oral fluconazole can be taken
Avoid moist in affected area and keep affected area between toes clean
