General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thankyou for asking your question at health care magic.

I recommend that you consult your doctor as soon as possible. Easy bruising while on cipro need further evaluation. Ciprofloxacin can affect your liver which can cause decrease coagulation factors and easy bruising/bleeding.
I recommend that you stop the ciprofloxacin and consult your doctor. In your case since you already had the bruise, it is difficult to comment now.But if a patient comes to me with similar complaints I will check liver function tests before restarting cipro.

Hope I was able to answer your question.
Please feel free to address any more concerns
Regards,
Dr.Lekshmi
