What Causes A Red Spot On Penis Head And Sensitive During Sex?
I have a spot on my penis head that is red and sensitive during sex, but doesn t give me any problems other than when I m having sex. It has gone away and come back 3 or 4 times now and is worrying me. It isn t very big , maybe a half inch. It is red and the skin is dry on the infected area. I do have psoriasis a bit on my arms and legs but I don t think that is the problem. Please let me know if it could be something serious (the penis spot doesn t look similar to ones on my arms and legs)

I spot on the penis that is red and pains during any friction producing activity like sex or masturbation. This may mean penile psoriasis but do not worry as that is not as severe as anywhere else on the body.
The key to reducing discomfort is moisturizing the spot. You can use a non greasy lotion and apply it on the spot twice a day. Also during intercourse apply the lotion and wear the condom on top to ensure you are not in pain.
If you want to be sure you need to visit a dermatologist who will evaluate the spot . Hydrocortisone cream can be applied but only after evaluation from a dermatologist. The dosage has to be adjusted such that it does not cause more damage .
