Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a round pink circular patch on my left breast that has a clear center. It is not scaly or itchy. It has been there for 2 weeks or so, no change, for better or worse. I seem to recall having such a spot a year or two ago that went away on its own after a month or two. Googling scared me to death because all I saw were inflammatory breast cancer pop ups. Just saw my doctor today who does not seem at all worried. Any thoughts? I have psoriasis elsewhere on my body.
As per my clinical experience, the round pink patch with central clearing may be a sequence of body response to: - Bug bite as tick or else - Immune process related - Fungal or bacterial infection (less likely) However, if you can upload the photo pic of the patch it would be best recommended if there is no objection.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
