What Causes A Scab In The Inner Corner Of The Left Eyelid?

I have a scab in the inner corner of my left eyelid. It is on the outer layer of the skin, and has been there for about two years now. At first, this scab only lasted a few weeks, then it went away. Then it came back a few more times after that. Each time it came back, it appeared to inhabit longer. The last time it came back, it never went away, and that was over year ago. It used to itch, but now it s just very dark blemish in the inner corner of my eye (next to my nose). I have even tried to peel the scab off, but it becomes raw and sore.

it can be blepharits. should be cleaned with sterile swab and apply neosporine eye ointment externally.
