Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i woke up with a mark on my leg that welted and eventually became filled with fluid. i accidently popped it and the fluid slowly leaked out and now it has refilled with fluid again..thought that maybe it was from my phone charger that was plugged into an extention chord that i was laying on top of when i woke up.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of scar with fluid discharge on leg. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like folliculitis, poor hygiene, eczema , viral infection or STD. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes , keep your legs clean and dry , take over the counter antihistamine along with antibacterial cleanser and apply an antibiotic like bacitracin or neosporin. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order certain test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis along with anti inflammatory . Also use Sarna lotion (also OTC) for itch relief.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
