What Causes A Sensitive, Itchy And White Patchy Area On The Back?

I just went to the dermatologist because I have a sensitive, white patchy area on my back that I was concerned about. It has been there for a few years but is growing. It does itch, but luckily i can t easily reach it easily. He did a biopsy today but thinks that it is Lichen Sclerosis or Morphea. I just did a search for Lichen Sclerosis and ended up on a page about Neuro Dermatitis. It looks just like what I have and the triggers include stress and trauma. I have constant stress in my life, have had times of trauma and suffer with depression. I also a case of shingles a few years ago, probably within a year of noticing this. I m wondering two things: 1. Is Nero Dermatitis related to Lichen Sclerosis? 2. Do you think the LS and the shingles that I had could have a relationship in my case?
