What Causes A Sharp Pain In The Upper Leg Radiating To The Hips?
I have a pain in the upper part of my leg about right under the buttocks and the private part it I said between there the pain spreads up to my hip and it feels like aknife is jabbing in there,I will be walking and the pain will just suddenly hit me , I do not now what this is and I am extremely worried.

Here hip joint arthritis, sciatica like pain, nerve compression secondary to spinal problem etc needs to be ruled out
Your physical examination is needed and accordingly specific work up decided
X ray, MRI like investigation useful and done according to need
According to cause specific treatment given
If vascular cause seems to be causative than colour doppler like investigation done for that
