What Causes A Shock In Both Arms From Fingers To Elbows With Numbness?

I received a shock at work. I was simply getting up from my desk and suddenly received shock. Both arms from fingers to elbows. Eventually numbness and tingling went away. But it has been 4 hours and both thumbs feel like they are receiving bee stings and skin is sensitive to touch

Hello,

You may be having nerve compression at medial epicondyle ( ulnar nerve) or pronator teres syndrome (median nerve) compression. So use tablet pregabalin once daily for five days. Avoid its aggravating position.

If symptoms not improved please consult your neuro physician he will examine and do nerve conduction study then treat you accordingly.
