What Causes A Slight Limp In The Gait Of Infant?

Hello, I kid is 14 months old. I started walking since he was 10 months old albeit with some support. Now, i walks easily. Since today has started to limp on his left leg. Like waling on his toe on the left leg. There seems to be no sign of any injury or pain. This happened all of a sudden. The pediatrician we consultant has prescribed Flexon (Ibuprofen & Paracetamol suspension). Need your suggestion, Thanks, Somesh

General & Family Physician 's  Response
If there was no defect at birth and the problem started 4 months after then walking its a acute pathology. Your doctor is right, give your kud Flexon for a week and if it doesn't improve then ask your doctor to prescribe an x-ray.
