What Causes A Small Black Spot On The Eyelid?
Hello. I woke up this morning to a black spot near my tear duct on my eyelid, and now it is starting to show up on my left eye as well. My optometrist said it did not look like an infection but he did not know what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It could be if great help if you send me a picture of the dark spot you have near eyelid. From what you are describing it could be related to any local trauma.
