General Surgeon 's  Response
You could be having acute or chronic anal fissure. This usually happens with constipation, and straining while passing motions. You may also be having a fistula in ano, which is a tract connection the perianal area to the anal canal or rectum. Since you are having exams, the immediate treatment is to avoid constipation by taking good quantities of fruits, vegetables, fibers and dring a lot of fluids. If it an acute fissure, then with this it will heal in a few days, you will be relieved of the discomfort. After your exams, please consult a Gastero-surgeon or a General surgeon for examination, diagnosis and proper management.
