What Causes A Small Lump In Collar Bone?

I have a small lump in my neck above my collar bone, on my right hand side. It s about the size of pea and seems to be quite hard when I squeeze it, it s not on the other side either. my grandma had cancer of the lymthnodes when she passed so wondering if I should get it checked out?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some enlarged lymphnode.
It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic cancer. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact idea regarding cause.
