What Causes A Small Lump In The Right Side Of Neck?

Hi, today I noticed a small lump in the right side of my neck. I've had some trouble getting comfortable in be and thought that I may be sleeping wrong. The lump is a little tender at the moment, it is pliable also. I haven't had a cold or anything lately but I do have my wisdom teeth growing in and out on the opposite side . :/ I'm a bit worried

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a small pliable lump on the neck along can be a swollen lymph node..

In case if you have a wisdom tooth growing and in case if you have any infection or inflammation then most commonly the lymph node on the same side will get swollen and not on the opposite side..
It might also be due to infection in oral areas in oro pharyngeal region or the wisdom tooth over same side might also be in a process of eruption that might be leading to slight infection..
Other causes of a small lump can be a sebaceous cyst, lipoma or benign muscle tumour..
I would suggest you to consult a General Physician or an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Biopsy/FNAC can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller and warm compresses in case if it is a lymph node..In case of other causes treatment can be according to cause and is mostly surgical removal..
Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
