What Causes A Small Lump Inside The Vagina Despite Having HPV?

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting. I am looking for some insight or experience to put me at ease about my current situation. I am a 23 year old female.I have been with the same person for three years. About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with HPV after my pap smear. I had a copolopsy (spelling?), my doctor recomended waiting things out though. then on my next sixth month pap I was clean and have been since.About a year ago I noticed a small lump about the size of a pea about two inches into my vagina on the right back wall (kind of in the corner). It is not my g spot or my cervix and it is something that was never there before. It has not grown or anything. It s this strange lump and feels almost like a skin tag. I told my obgyn about it and she did not notice anything. She mentioned maybe since I had recently lost some weight it could be extra skin I never noticed? But she never even saw it. I ve gone again since then, not mentioned it and she never said anything about it I guess she doesn t see it?Today I had sex and had the slightest bit of bleeding. It was just a pinkish color on the toilet paper as I was cleaning up. I m just concerned about this whole thing I just want my mind to be at ease. Does anyone have experience with this? Thank you

Hi,

Vaginal lumps are mostly small cysts from mucus or sebum secreting gland in vaginal wall. They are not painful and are mostly not harmful. May disappear over time. If they are infected and get painful need to be incised. Consult a gynecologist in such a case. Skin tag is an excessive fold of skin developed during labor. You may get infected and incised.

The bleeding you had with sex could be excessive rubbing injury to above things OR it may be from a swollen varicose veins (looking blue) in the vaginal wall. All these things are practically not harmful. You need maintenance of good genital hygiene. You need a doctor's help in case of infection (pain, fever) or inflammation or excessive bleeding for a surgical intervention. Get examined by a gynecologist and believe. Follow the advice given.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
