Hi I jus notice a tiny lump probably the size of a dime on my right side of the neck half way toward my collar bone. Not sure how long it has been there. It Dosen t hurt or bother me . It feels a little soft. Now I m worried it might be something serious after searching the internet.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like ear infections , sinus infections , tonsillitis , dental infections , hodgkin’s lymphoma , sebaceous cyst or localize infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood tests , physical examination , CT scan or throat swab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin , anti inflammatory along with vitamin supplement . Doctor may also refer you to dentist for dental infection . For now apply warm compresses on it and keep it clean and dry .
