What Causes A Small Painful Lump Under The Left Eyebrow?

I have a small lump just under my left eyebrow on the side closest to my ear.. I have tried squeezing it with no result other than bruising the area..I can feel it every time I wash my face.. It is quite painful to touch deep under the skin and quite visible (not only to me) Is there any medication I can apply to the area to reduce the size of the cyst or get rid of it al together without surgery?

it can either be a lymph node or fat swelling or cyst . so do not squeeze it or scratch it as it may worsen the condition. consult a near by surgeon for proper treatment. there is a chance the swelling may increase in size. most of that swelling can be removed surgically without any discomfort so no need to worry about the surgery.
