What Causes A Small Pus Filled Bump On Skin With History Of MRSA?
Hi, My boyfriend started off, with a small white head, with a large red ring around it. Our first reaction was to try and squeeze the pimple. When we soon realized that it was definitely not a pimple, we went to the nearest walk-in center. He then was diagnosed, mind you..(The physician did not do a culture), with having a spider bite. But, I have been observing him these last three days, and its getting more swollen and his discomfort has worsened. Its even difficult for him to walk. And, I just now found out, that he has been diagnosed and hospitalized for having MRSA , 10 years ago. It is not looking good. should we go to the ER?

An increasing size of pus filled bump with difficulty in walking indicate systemic features of acute inflammation. With history of MRSA, one should not neglect it in any manner and must be addressed to an ER for immediate starting of the respective therapy at very first instance.
