Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a very small sore on the side of my nose. My primary care doctor gave me an antibiotic ointment and it seemed to work. I stopped using it and the sore returned. He wanted me to see a dermatologist if this happened. I had foot surgery about 2 months ago and am wondering if that may be the cause and it if it is cellulitis or the beginning of a basal cell carcinoma
