What Causes A Soft Bump In Forehead And Vomiting Caused Due To A Fall?

Hi,my 10 mons old daughter just fell off from my sofa, about 26 inches high.and then she got a soft large bump on her forehead. She slept 20 mins after she fell, when she wakes up she vomits just a lil bit. I was wondering ifi need to bring her to the doctor. Would the lump will subside? Would she be ok?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi thanks for writing to hcm .
Yes it is important to take her to a doctor since she has vomited.
Kindly describe to the doctor if the vomiting projectile or not . Also kindly check if she is breast feeding properly or not . Her orientation is normal or not.
The bump will come down but probably she may need analgesics. However , it is important to first consult the paediatrician regarding this. Dont worry everything should be fine.
Thanks Dr.Riyanka
