I went to the doctor and she told me I had a throat infection. She also said my throat looked like hamburger meat. When I got home I looked in the mirror and could all of a sudden see my epiglottis! I'm a speech pathology major so I'm 100% sure it's my epiglottis. Is it normal for a person to all of a sudden be able to see it? I never have before! My throat is really sore and hurts to swallow. I feel terrible. Could this be anything serious?
