Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have high blood pressure and low heart rate. A few time today I have been getting very sore in the chest - like squeezing. Pretty stressed about it. Can't get into Cardiologist for 3 weeks and my doctor has said to just drink coffee... He says the rythem of the heart is playing up. He says he has not seen the ECG results I have in his 25 years of consulting.
Hi!, Just wanted to know your age. Anyways, looking at you symptoms - it definatly sounds like yopu ar suffering with somde cardiac problem - probably it looks like blockages in blood vessels supplying the heart muscke - medically we call it as "ANGINA". In this situation - you should definatly stop consuming Coffee, I would sensiorly advice you to consult a Cardiologist at the earliest. It would not be right on my part to prescribe medications without looking at your ECG and you would also require few basic tests like Echo & Treadmill test.
