What Causes A Sudden Onset Of Severe Left-sided Headache?

A few days ago I had the sudden onset of a severe headache on the top left side of my head. last night I felt a pop , no pain, and the sensation of liquid trickling from the same spot where I had experienced the headache pain. Any idea what it could be?
