What Causes A Swollen Hard Vein On The Forearm After Catheter Ablation Surgery?
I had two atrial fibrillation ablasions I m sure that the needles for the medications, The general and the paralytic and etc has done damage to a vein on top of my forearm. I notice it standing up and hard this evening. It s been since Nov of 2016 since the last procedure. The procedure before that was July 2016. What can I do about this... It scares me to see this vein just popping up and feeling hard. I m upset

You may be developed thrombophlebitis of the vein or thrombosis.
You may take oral painkiller medication, apply Thrombophob gel.
If symptoms not improved please consult your physician, he will examine for infection and treat you accordingly.
