What Causes A Swollen Lymph Node That Persists To The Neck?

Hi I recently had shoulder lain that persisted to my neck. As time went by my Lyon nodes behind my ear on one side and one lymph node behind my lower head were swollen. Went to er and got cleared for infection and virus. Dr said was caused by muscle tension in my shoulder and stress. Is he right?

Hi,
I don't think that it is because of muscle stress.
I would suggest you that if lymph nodes or swelling is more that one cm you go for Fine needle aspiration cytology.
It will give idea and cause of the swelling and get treated accordingly.
