Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a fit 60 y/o man and recently have been experiencing near syncope when climbing stairs. I do feel my my heart beating hard during these episodes. If I do not hold on to something I do believe I would fall. The episodes clear very quickly and I feel fine afterwards. I had a stress test one year ago and was normal but the problem continues. I am on no meds for high blood pressure.
Hi please rule out Diabetes, autonomic neuropathy, vestibular menierre's, MVP syndrome with your doctor. These are the likely causes in your case--regards
