What Causes A Thickening Of Left Testicle While Suffering From Epididymitis?
I am 45 and have been suffering from epididymatics L and calcium oxalate crystals in urine. Doctor xiadvised first oflaxicine tabs. And then citel tabs. Some improvement is there but not so much. USG also done . N ormal every thing except thickness in left testical
Initially you May had a Pain and swelling Based on it doctor diagnosed you as epididymo-orchitis. It is infection of testis. You already used antibiotic. Use showing thickness indicates residual changes. No need to worry about it. It’s absolutely fine. If symptoms persist after 2 weeks after treatment, meet your treating doctor for further management since it may be re-infection.
My advice, drink plenty of water 5 liters per day, good hygiene maintenance, tight inner wear for 2 months, continue antibiotic medication. If symptoms persist, we need to do culture sensitivity for bug causing this problem. Give appropriate medication.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Tata Lokesh Kumar, General Surgeon
