Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small, hard white bump on the tip of my nipple. There is no discharge. it is not clear. I am 65 years old and recently had a mammogram. It is not painful. I take few medications, only topomax for migraines and estrace hormone replacement I am in excellent health.
Watch the bump for a while, it could be associated to friction, a montogomery tubercle due to hormonal fluctuations, or a cyst or boil. If it starts swelling up and becomes painful, then make sure you initiate hot compresses over the region several times a day. Nothing serious to worry about.
Best wishes.
