Dear doctor, I had viral conjunctivitis recently and used FML-T eyedrop with the doctor prescription to use 4 times a day and use tears plus lubricating eyedrop 6 times a day with a time gap of half an hours for 7 days to 10 days. Now a prominent white patch appeared on my left eye near the eyeball. What may be the reason for that? Kindly suggest the cure for this. M afraid if that is some sort of secondary infection. Please help. Thank you.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having white patch during treatment for viral conjunctivitis. This indicates pseudomembranous/membranous conjunctivitis and this occurs in severe virulent conjunctivitis. Do consult your ophthalmologist for examination to confirm the diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you. Thank you
