Brief answer:
PERICORONITIS.
Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain and description of your symptoms it seems that you have infection in the gum flap that covers your
impacted wisdom tooth and the infection occurs due to lodgement of food debris in between the gum flap and wisdom tooth leading to
bacterial growth causing inflammation in that area leading to pain and swelling as well as other symptoms you described and the condition is known as PERICORONITIS
The inflammation can also occur due to trauma to the flap caused by the biting of the flap by the upper teeth.
In case you have impacted teeth the best and permanent treatment is to get them extracted as they will never erupt by themselves and can cause recurrent episodes of the similar symptoms.
Other thing what you can do if you do not wish to get your tooth removed is to get the gum flap covering the wisdom tooth excised, it is a small procedure known as Operculectomy in which the portion of gum flap covering the wisdom tooth is removed under local anaesthesia.
In order to relieve the immediate symptoms do warm saline gargles.
For relief from pain and inflammation
Ibuprofen can be taken twice daily.
Antibiotics like
amoxicillin 500mg thrice daily can help in reducing infection.
Use of antimicrobial mouthwash to gargle can be relieving.
Hope your query is solved..
