What Causes A White Spot In Iris Of Eye Causing Pain And Burning Sensation?
my wife has a spot on her eye, on the outer edge of the iris the colored part of the eye. all around it it s red but it is a white spot any idea what it could be and what I need to do? She said it burns and it hurts and her eyes watering constantly and we don t have insurance?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having fallen some foreign body in cornea producing redness, irritation and pain.
Consult ophthalmologist as soon as possible as this might cause corneal ulcer if FB not removed early.
Meanwhile do not rub your eyes.
Put antibiotic eye drops 3-4 hourly.
Ok and take care.
