General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The yellow fluid leakage with painful swelling after injury, indicates possible infection in pre-existing hematoma, following a trauma. Though the primary relief is given using antiseptic dressing and painkiller, I strongly recommend to immediately consult your doctor for further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
