What Causes A Yellowish Painful Bump On The Roof Of Mouth?

Hi I have a yellowish scar on the roof of my mouth it was a bump the was a little sore if i press on it, then i woke up in the mornibg to find it not there but a scar where it was i assumed this will heal after a couple days but now its been three days and still feels the same and very painful Thanks for your help

Yellowish bump on the roof of the mouth indicates some bacterial infection in this area. Pain and yellowish color is caused by pus accumulation in this lump. It can be a sign of quinsy. Especially if you have also pain while swallowing, fever, nausea. Abscess in the tonsil is also possible.
I suggest you to consult your doctor as antibiotic seems to be necessary. In case of any doubts, laryngologist should be consulted as well.
