General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Ovarian cysts have tendency of creating strong pain & irregular periods. Your pain & profuse bleeding with diagnosis of ovarian cysts need to be investigated by USG abdomen/ laproscopic examination Followed by treatment depending on type of the cyst. - The treatment can be Pain killer pills / hot fomentation/ avoid massage. - cyclical hormonal courses advised by gynecologist/ surgical removal depending on it's size & type. Thanks.
