Microgynon is a hormonal contraceptive.. & is known to cause gastric disturbances, weight gain, breast soreness, menstrual scantiness, in first few months of use,while the body gets used to hormone. * You had taken it only for one month so it was alright to gain weight, exeirience bloated stomach during & at the most the month following withdrawal. Please don t do any thing for the complaint..wait for a couple of months( while you use barrier contraceptive ) & it should return to normal .. if the problem is due to temporary hormonal change by use of pills. * Another possibility is .. ovulation may be stimulated following the withdrawal.. so conception might have taken place.. which has created the bloating & scanty periods following the withdrawal.You can get HPT done to exclude pregnancy. * If there is no pregnancy & no improvement in symptoms.. you need a gynecologist s consultation, examination , investigations as per need & specific treatment.
