What Causes Abdominal Bloating After Having Meals?

Hi, Recently (in the last few weeks), I ve noticed that when I eat anything, I feel a heaviness in my stomach that doesn t dissipate for a while. A kind of bloat, and it occurs after bland food as well as spicy. Not sure what is going on. Any thoughts? Just regular old aging?

Hello,

It seems you are experiencing symptoms that might be related to the stomach. It can be gastritis or peptic ulcer disease. You can take some omeprazole to help with the symptoms and avoid alcohol, smoking, spicy food, fast food and take fruit and vegetables and frequent small portions of food and water.
Meanwhile you need to have an appointment with your doctor as new symptoms of stomach issues in older age need proper investigation to rule out more important causes like cancer.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,

Antoneta Zotaj
