What Causes Abdominal Bloating Along With Constipation And Dizziness?
my husband hv acid reflux,he was taking Nazole magnesium 40 mgexium and has been changed 4/5 months ago to esomeprazole magnesium.for the last 7 days he has been having complications as if he is not taking his meds, constant berping, stomach bloated, constantly feeling full but he can not eat like he normally eat.he was constipated for 3 days but took a laxative 1 day ago that worked.he is dizzy and in pain in the lower part of his stomach on the left & right side.
Gerd can cause all these symptoms but to worry is that it's not responding to esomeprazole so I feel it's time you need to see a gastroenterologist who would take a more detail history and investigation if needed.
I suggest such patient check his breath test for h pylori and eradication if positive. The rule of lifestyle modification in Gerd still stands high example avoid small meals at a time, avoid spicy food, avoid smoking, alcohol, elevating the head end of the bed in the night, use of antacids. You may well need an endoscopy if things don't help a lot.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
