As per your complain it seems that you have got constipation and can be due to a number of causes like sudden change in dietary habits, lack of fibre in diet, lack of physical activity, stress, dehydration,

Take
fibre supplements like Psyllium or lactulose..
Take
stool softener like Docusate..
Take walk after meals..
Do moderate workout daily..
Eat ever after 2 hours..
Sip on warm water..
In case if there is no improvement in a week
consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and he can advise you Colonoscopy to rule out the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..
He can advise you prescription drugs like Lubiprostone and Linclotide..
